/tg/ I want to get into EDH but the problem is I don't have the experience or knowledge of cards to be able to make a good deck, further compounding the issue is that every other local magic player has been playing since either elementary or middle school and have at least ten years experience between all of them and have fought in tournaments, I don't know if they only fought local or have actually fought in real tournaments but still. So it is not as though I can just play with people of similar skill.
What I am asking for is for you to teach me how to fish metaphorically speaking.
I know about gatherer and how to search cards, but I don't know what cards to search for is the thing. So what should I look for, what are some resources for EDH deck builds. What should I consider when making an EDH deck.
I mean it is not as though I have literally never played magic before, it is just that EDH is a whole nother beast entirely.
